Bargain basement Fezza definitely not a goer
A modern day Dino with vaguely affordable pricing? Sounds almost too
good to be true. And that’s exactly what it is, according to Ferrari
grand fromage and all-round international man of mystery, Luca di
Montezemolo…
As for the hows, whys and wherefores, it comes down to careful brand management. Speaking to Italy’s Quattroroute mag, di Montezemolo revealed that managing the crucial supply and demand balance, maintaining exclusivity and keeping the prancing horse out of the hands of the great unwashed (rank and file football players aside) is the general idea. Similar pronouncements have previously been made by other less senior Ferrari suits. But when blue-eyed aristo di Montezemolo speaks, few doubt his authority.
