Ferrari's new front engine supercar

Hard to believe, but everyone’s favourite chest-wig chariot, the Ferrari Maranello, celebrates its 10th birthday next year. So, the tweaked 575 Maranello notwithstanding, it’s about time Ferrari wheeled out a new flagship front-engined supercar. Based on the slinky 612 Scaglietti sports-luxury coupe, but with a shortened wheelbase, the new Ferrari Imola is due out in 2006. Power is expected to come from a 6-litre, 600bhp variant of the Scaglietti’s 5.7-litre V12. These latest shots from website Car Connection clearly show the car’s long-snouted styling.
