10% off list for Premiership footballers

If the footballer’s wheels status of most modern Ferraris isn’t quite vulgar enough for you, may we recommend this new Ferrari 599GTB-based creation from tuning outfit Hamann. Needless to say, Hamann has bequeathed the 599 with not only the usual monster split-rim alloys, but also the obligatory splitter, sill and rear wing and diffuser appendages. Mercifully, however, Hamann has likewise seen fit to match the pumped up show with a dash of added go…

Of course, with around 620bhp from an Enzo derived 6.0-litre bent-12, the standard 599 ain’t exactly short of pace. So, we’ll leave it to the members of Manchester United to judge whether the 53bhp boost Hamann claims to have extracted makes a meaningful real-world difference. In the meantime, suffice to know that the added ponies come courtesy of so-called racing catalytic converters, a sports header and a fancy back box complete with 90mm tailpipes. Fat with a capital ‘P’.

Oh, and just to underline this uber-599’s serious driving tool credentials, Hamann offers a full range of multimedia options, including gogglebox, DVD and Playstation functionality. That’s one way to secure that elusive PS3 console…

Pricing and availability details have yet to be released. But if you have to ask, then perhaps you’d better renegotiate that contract for next season.
