Leon gets (a little) lairy

Turbo power for Seat hatch
It’s not a particularly earth-shattering development. But in the interests of completeness, let it be known that Seat has released a new 2.0-litre, 182bhp TFSI Sport variant of the Leon.
The new Leon knocks off the zero-to-sixty gallop in 7.8 seconds and canters on to an entirely adequate 137mph. Standard safety equipment includes enough airbags to do your ear drums terminal damage (six), a tyre pressure monitoring system and all manner of traction, stability and brake assist jiggery pokery.
The TFSI Sport is available now. And at just £15,995 in the UK, it’s undoubtedly a whole lot of kit for the cash, even if you don’t go for the MPV-esque styling.
