Lime green Lambo to remain a concept

Given the mixed reception it received, it’s not a huge shock to learn that Lamborghini has decided the shamelessly retro Miura concept shown off a few weeks ago will not be going into series production.

Lambo suits dished the dirt on the fate of the Miura concept at a presentation for the new Gallardo Spyder. Apparently, Lambo’s existing bread winners, the Gallardo and the Murcielago, are such a roaring success, the Italian outfit simply doesn’t have the capacity to produce the Miura. Well, possibly. But if world and dog was hammering on Lamborghini’s front door begging to see the Miura make production, we reckon they’d find a way.
