Rover resurrected?
Thoroughly dead, but not quite buried. That’s the status of MG Rover following news that Nanjing Automobile will resume production at now-defunct motor manufacturer’s idling Longbridge plant. So says no less an authority than the Financial Times newspaper. Full details of Nanjing’s plans for the plant haven’t been divulged, but according to the latest issue of Autocar magazine, the elderly MG TF sportscar will be resurrected. A detailed announcement from the Chinese car company, which handed over just £53 for the decaying corpse of MG Rover last year, is expected later this month…
