But what about production prospects?
Bolt on a turbo or supercharger, big wheels and some aero addenda. Then sit back and relax as the deposit checks flow in. That appears to be Nissan’s plan for a pair of high performance concepts due to be shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in early July. Based on existing Nissan models, the Murano GT-C packs 350bhp turbocharged ponies, while the 350Z GT-S sings a supercharged 380bhp tune. Nissan says both cars could make production in limited numbers if the public reaction is riotous enough…
Nissan has yet to release final images or performance stats, but has divulged that the Murano GT-C will pack massive 22-inch rims and a roof spoiler, while the 350Z GT-S gets jazzed up suspension and brakes and an aero body kit that includes improved cooling to the front brakes.
Both cars will also be on show at the London Motor Show later in July.
