Mid-range saloon to spawn coupe variant

Not much to report on this one other than pass on the (slightly) revelatory news that VW is working on a two-door version of the new Passat saloon. Engines are likely to mirror those available on the recently released four-door Passat, as is the not-exactly-Nurburgring-busting front-drive chassis. Styling will take its cues from the saloon shown above and very likely pinch a line or to from the Concept C roadster below. Over and out.
