What did Mr Spock find in the toilet? The Captain’s l…sorry, but the old ones are the best ones. Putting potty humour aside for a moment (normal service will resume shortly), British outfit DayCar has announced an in-car chemical lavatory which not only promises a little privacy and convenience for long-haul journeys, but might just prove the ultimate weapon in public-road endurance events – just think, no need to stop for vanity breaks. Gumball Rally here we come.
The toilet itself, known as the Indipod, is housed in an inflatable bubble which presumably shields other occupants from, er, undesirable odours. DayCar says one sachet of chemicals is enough for eight day’s worth of output from your average human being. The Indipod is currently available for the very special price of £199 (E290, $376). Oh, and finally - why did Captain Kirk pee on the ceiling? To go where no ma……arghghggh
On reflection, we think we’d prefer to take our chances in the open air.
