S and RS line-up takes shape
German Car Blog (a handy little site apparently run by an Audi insider) has the skinny on Audi’s new BMW M-Power bashing high performance range. First up is the S3 uber-hatch. Surprisingly, it drops the current flagship A3’s 3.2 V6 in favour of a high-output version of the 2.0FSI mill producing around 272bhp. Next up, probably in late 2006, the second generation TT will break cover. German Car Blog optimistically suggests the new TT will take on Porsche courtesy of a turbo-charged 3.6FSI V6. Finally, of course, there’s the widely-rumoured twin-turbo V10 RS6. Could be quite, nippy…
