Techart tweaks drop-top Porsche
The Porsche Boxster is fabulous machine. If there’s another (relatively) affordable sports car engineered from the ground up by a world class performance car manufacturer, well, we’re not aware of it. But it is a little bit girly. Not any more. German tuner Techart has released the first images of its new badboy, widebodied Boxster.
If it’s attitude in spades you are after, look no further. This is a Boxster that will scare small children from 100 yards. However, on close inspection it’s disappointing to note that the wider wings, front and rear, are rather crude bolt-on items complete with unsightly seams. What’s more, it’s a purely cosmetic affair. Granted, Techart will happily add horsepower to your Boxster for an additional fee. But we’ve a feeling that most widebody orders will be body-kit only.
