Bangle's risky roadster gets a roof
It’s long been rumoured, but now it’s a reality: the BMW Z4 Coupe. On the first day of the Frankfurt motorshow, BMW took the wraps off what must be a very thinly disguised concept version of the upcoming Z4 tin-top. Problem is, it’s the US where BMW really needs to boost Z4 registrations. And historically sales of this sort of sportshatch have been slim to none Stateside. No technical details as yet (nor news of a Z4M), but look out for more info and better pictures soon.
Update:
The concept is powered by BMW’s fab 3-litre, magnesium block straight-six in standard 258bhp trim. As expected, Chairman Helmut Panke announced that a production vehicle based closely on the concept will follow, perhaps some time in 2006. For sure, it’s not conventionally pretty, but it’s also not as butt-ugly as your average Bangle design (click images below for super-duper high res pics):

I put a pre production order in yesterday ,but have not been informed of definite engine sizes and prices as yet - could you inform me if possible ,please ?
